At Beaming Allied Health, we bring expert, compassionate physiotherapy directly to your child — at home, at school, or at your local park. Our mobile paediatric physiotherapy service is designed around the simple idea that children thrive when they’re comfortable, and comfort is found in familiar surroundings, not clinical waiting rooms. Led by Salah Zeidan, a University of Technology Sydney (UTS) graduate currently completing a Master’s degree in paediatrics, Beaming Allied Health delivers evidence-based, child-centred care across South West Sydney and Western Sydney.

- ASD-related motor difficulties — addressing the coordination, balance, and body awareness challenges often associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Torticollis — gentle, effective treatment for neck tightness and head-tilting in infants and young children
- Gait abnormalities — assessing and treating toe-walking, in-toeing, flat feet, and other walking pattern differences
- Coordination difficulties (developmental coordination disorder) — helping children gain confidence in physical activities and daily tasks
- Genetic conditions — including Down syndrome and other conditions that affect muscle tone, strength, and motor development
- Post-surgical rehabilitation — structured recovery programmes to help children regain strength, mobility, and function after orthopaedic or other surgery
- Hypotonia (low muscle tone) — building strength and stability in children who fatigue easily or have difficulty with physical tasks
- Acquired injuries — including fractures, sprains, and sports-related injuries in children and adolescents
If you’re unsure whether physiotherapy is right for your child, we encourage you to get in touch. An early conversation is always worthwhile.
How Mobile Paediatric Physiotherapy Works
Step 1: Initial Enquiry
Contact us by phone or through our online form. We’ll have a brief conversation about your child’s needs, confirm your location is within our service area, and arrange a convenient time for a first visit.
Step 2: Assessment in Your Child’s Environment
Our physiotherapists will come to your home, your child’s school, or another location that works for your family. This first session is a comprehensive assessment, Salah observes how your child moves in their natural environment, reviews any existing reports or referrals you have, and speaks with you about your goals for your child.
Step 3: Personalised Treatment Plan
Following the assessment, we will develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your child’s specific goals. You’ll receive a clear explanation of what we’re working towards, how often we recommend sessions, and what you can do between visits to support progress.
Step 4: Ongoing Therapy Sessions
Each session is play-based and engaging, designed to feel like fun rather than exercise. We integrate therapy into your child’s everyday routines and favourite activities to maximise motivation and carry-over. Parents and carers are always welcome and actively encouraged to participate so that progress continues between sessions.
Step 5: Regular Reviews and Progress Updates
We regularly review your child’s goals and celebrate milestones along the way. We also communicate with your child’s other health professionals and educators when needed, to ensure a coordinated approach to their care.
Why Choose Mobile Physio for Your Child?
Children’s physiotherapy at home offers advantages that a clinic simply cannot replicate. Here’s why families across South West Sydney are choosing mobile physio for kids:
- Familiar environment, better outcomes. Children are more relaxed, engaged, and willing to participate in therapy when they’re in a space they know and love. This translates directly into faster progress.
- No travel stress. Getting to a clinic with a child who has complex needs can be exhausting. We eliminate that barrier entirely, we come to you.
- Real-world skill building. We work on the actual stairs your child climbs, the floor they play on, and the playground they visit. Skills practised in context are skills that last.
- More family involvement. Parents and carers are present and can learn strategies to support their child’s development every day not just during the appointment.
- Flexible scheduling. We work around school timetables, nap routines, and the realities of family life.
- Inclusive and accessible. As a mobile service, we’re particularly well-suited to children whose conditions make travelling to a clinic difficult or distressing.

Frequently Asked Questions
How old does my child need to be to see a paediatric physiotherapist?
We work with children from birth through to adolescence. Paediatric physiotherapy can begin very early for example, treating torticollis in newborns or supporting developmental milestones in infants. There is no minimum age requirement.
Do I need a referral to access mobile paediatric physiotherapy?
No referral is required to book a session with Beaming Allied Health. You can contact us directly. However, if your child has been assessed by a paediatrician, GP, or other specialist, please bring any relevant reports or letters to the first session as these can be very helpful.
How long does each session take?
A typical session runs for approximately 30 to 60 minutes. The initial assessment may take a little longer as we will spend time gathering a thorough history and completing a detailed evaluation.
What should I have ready for the first visit?
There’s no special preparation required. If you have any previous reports, assessments, or referral letters, please have these handy. It’s also helpful to note down any specific concerns or goals you’d like to discuss. Beyond that, just make sure your child has a comfortable space to move around in the lounge room floor works perfectly.
Can Beaming Allied Health visit my child’s school?
Yes. School visits are a core part of our mobile service. We can liaise with teachers and school support staff to observe your child in their classroom or playground environment, and provide recommendations to help them participate more fully in the school day. This can be arranged in addition to, or instead of, home visits, depending on your child’s needs and your preference.
