Mobile Physiotherapy Sydney

Paediatric and Geriatric Mobile Physiotherapy Across All of Sydney

Beaming Allied Health is Sydney’s trusted mobile physiotherapy service, specialising in paediatric physiotherapy for children and geriatric physiotherapy for older adults. We bring expert, evidence-based care directly to your door, no matter where in Sydney you are located.

There are no waiting rooms, no stressful commutes, and no one-size-fits-all treatment plans. Whether you are a parent looking for mobile physio for your child, a family member arranging care for an ageing parent, or a support coordinator seeking a trusted NDIS-registered physiotherapy provider, we come to you at home, at school, at an aged care facility, or wherever works best.

Why choose Mobile physiotherapy?

No travel required. Getting to and from a clinic can be exhausting, especially for children with complex needs or older adults managing pain, fatigue, or reduced mobility. We come to you, so that energy goes into your recovery instead.

Therapy in your real environment. We work with you in the actual spaces you live and move in every day — which means treatment is directly relevant to your life, not a clinical approximation of it.

Better outcomes for children. Children are more relaxed, engaged, and willing to participate in therapy when they are in familiar surroundings. Play-based therapy at home or school leads to faster progress and better carry-over between sessions.

Family involvement. When parents, carers, and family members are present, they learn practical strategies to support their loved one every single day, not just in the 45 minutes we are there.

Our Services

Paediatric Physiotherapy

We specialise in mobile paediatric physiotherapy for infants, children, and adolescents across all of Sydney. Salah works with children from birth through to adolescence, supporting those with:

  • Cerebral palsy
  • Developmental delays and motor milestone concerns
  • ASD-related motor difficulties
  • Hypotonia (low muscle tone)
  • Torticollis and plagiocephaly
  • Gait abnormalities (toe-walking, in-toeing, flat feet)
  • Developmental coordination disorder
  • Genetic conditions (including Down syndrome)
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Acquired injuries in children and adolescents

Sessions are play-based, engaging, and designed to feel completely natural within your child’s everyday environment — at home, at school, or at the local playground. Parents and carers are always actively involved, learning practical strategies they can apply between sessions to accelerate progress. We support children accessing physiotherapy through Medicare and private health insurance.

Geriatric Physiotherapy

Our geriatric physiotherapy service helps older adults across all of Sydney maintain their strength, mobility, and independence in the comfort and safety of their own homes. We treat a wide range of conditions including:

  • Arthritis and joint pain
  • Osteoporosis and fracture prevention
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Stroke rehabilitation
  • Falls and balance impairment
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation (hip and knee replacement)
  • Dementia-related physical decline
  • Chronic pain
  • General deconditioning after illness or hospitalisation

Mobile physiotherapy for elderly clients removes the physical toll of clinic travel and allows Salah to assess your actual living environment identifying hazards, adapting exercises to your space, and designing a programme genuinely relevant to your daily life. We work closely with carers, family members, aged care coordinators, and other health professionals. We support elderly clients through NDIS, Home Care Packages, DVA, Medicare EPC, and private health insurance.

Aquatic Physiotherapy

Aquatic physiotherapy, also known as hydrotherapy, uses the properties of warm water to support rehabilitation and exercise for both children and older adults. The buoyancy reduces load on joints and muscles, making it ideal for clients managing pain, limited mobility, neurological conditions, or post-surgical recovery. Salah coordinates aquatic physiotherapy sessions at suitable pools across the greater Sydney area, providing a low-impact, highly effective environment where clients can work on strength, balance, and movement with significantly less discomfort than on land. Aquatic physiotherapy is available for both paediatric and geriatric clients and can often be funded through NDIS or other care plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to book mobile physiotherapy in Sydney?

No referral is required for most funding types. You can contact us directly and we will arrange a convenient time. A GP referral is only needed if you wish to claim through Medicare’s Enhanced Primary Care plan.

Do you travel to all parts of Sydney?

Yes. We provide mobile physiotherapy across the greater Sydney metropolitan area, including South West Sydney, Western Sydney, Northern Sydney, the Eastern Suburbs, the Inner West, South Sydney, the Sutherland Shire, and the Hills District. If you are unsure whether we service your suburb, give us a call and we will confirm.

Can you provide mobile physiotherapy for NDIS participants anywhere in Sydney?

Yes. We support participants across all of Sydney whose plans are plan-managed or self-managed. We work with both paediatric and adult NDIS participants and can assist with documentation and coordination with support coordinators.

Is mobile physiotherapy suitable for both children and elderly patients?

Absolutely. Paediatric and geriatric physiotherapy are the two core specialties at Beaming Allied Health. We work with children from birth through to adolescence and with adults of all ages, including those in aged care facilities or supported accommodation.

What is the benefit of mobile physiotherapy for elderly patients over a clinic visit?

For older adults, the primary benefits are eliminating travel stress, receiving therapy in a familiar and safe environment, and having treatment tailored to the real spaces they live in. Falls assessments, for example, are far more meaningful when conducted in the client’s own home than in a clinic setting. Family members and carers can also be present, which greatly improves consistency of care between sessions.

How do I arrange a home visit for my child or parent?

Simply call or email us. We will ask a few brief questions about your needs, confirm your location, and find a suitable time. No lengthy referral process, no waiting list forms — just a straightforward conversation to get you started.
